Eye Candy / Candies!

Not that I'm a big big fan of SuJu, I just thought it was a a pretty nice and cute Music Video.

Note: The 'not so skinny' guy doing the dance move, super cute lah!

TVXQ. Weird. But REALLY cute of them. And I have to say, I actually like this MV, makes me feel happy.

So much for now.

On a random-er note!
I received this sms from DiGi today saying: Mulai 1 Oktober 2007, Talian Kecemasan adalah 999. Satu Negara, Satu Nombor. Effective 1st October 2007, the Emergency Line is 999. One Nation, One Number.

So since it's 'One nation, one number' right, means this is applicable to all Hotlink, Maxis, Celcom (did I miss out any?) users lah right?!

Yeah, so I thought. Some general info to share.

Good day!

Sunday, October 28

Just some very random stuff!!

During briefing:
Coach: We will go down after lunch! *pats stomach*
Raffee: *pats stomach* You pun know eh??!!
Everyone: *laughs*

Must Listen: Backstreet Boys - Inconsolable.

The Battle: MLA vs APA.
Winner: No one.
Loser: Me. Big time... Ugh.

To do list:
Complete 103 research findings ( tick, literally.)

Countdowns:
Betty's birthday - 2 hours.
AN 101 report - 2 days * no yay *.
Baskin Robbins - 2 days * big yay *.
PSY 106 labbie - 8 days * no yay *.
Aussie - 11 days * big yay... maybe minus the big *.

Last random item of the day.

Figured this is a very nice photo. Like mirror effect, of course except, it's me (on the left) & Sharon (on the right).
*waves to Sharon*
Thank you!!
*smiles*

Sayonara!

Friday, October 26

Was listening to the radio, Mix fm, to be exact. A fact that most people, I supposed, already know but still, Jordin Sparks is only 17! Oh my. Talk about young talents! *feeling sorry for myself who at the age of 19, doesn't even know how to deposit a cheque* Again, oh my...

Anyway, no post yesterday b'cuz I was like stressed to the limit and had almost no or little time to spare for my shower and dinner which was a combination of Dutch Lady low fat milk + Double Delight Oreo's (so contradictive right?!). But then again, skipping a post isn't something bad! And thank God I survived the 1000 word memo and managed to gather three hours of sleep before attending my 8 o'clock class this morning.

Geez, couldn't have done it without help from so many people. This time, no 'thank you' list, but u people know who you are. Thank you Lord for answering my prayers and for not giving up on me when I was that close to giving up on myself. Amen.

You must wonder cuz I wonder too, with only three hours of sleep, who in the right mind would choose to go gallivanting instead of heading home for a good rest?! No prize for guessing the right answer. The mau mati / mighty 4 people in alphabetical order: Aili (3 hours), Boon Woei (0 hours), Mandy (er, 3 too?) and Sharon Kong (an hour).
* Number in ( ) indicates total hours of sleep.

So macho right?! With baggy saggy eye bags and yawny yawn yawns, we headed towards MV. Our verdict: Of course must reward ourselves lah! So we had Sushi at the Gardens. Once in a while, can lah! After which, bimbo (referring to the Japanese meaning of bimbo) people like us decided that the old mid valley would do us more good in our quest to do *some* shopping.

Pictures taken with my surprisingly functioning Grand Vision Digital Pocket Camera... please excuse the blurriness of photos, it's already a miracle that the camera can snap shots.

* Long Star necklace from Miss Cindy.

* Dark brown sleeveless top from Damsel.

* The combo purchased from the affordable F.O.S

Special mention, My Red Kappa not doing very well. Went to Metro to jumpa it, responses received were as follow:

Boon Woei: Quite weird.
Mandy: Not nice, red doesn't suit you.
Sharon: OK wert! Quite cute.
(not exact words used but the meaning is there.)

Hence, yeah, will reconsider buying it, so sad lah. And also, please ignore and forget what I mentioned in the earlier post about no more shopping this month. You shall hear no evil, see no evil and speak no evil!

Btw, I kena con-ed by Jusco! I paid 2 ringgit for 7 pieces of keropok lekor from the booth outside Jusco (apparently, they are part of Jusco too! Cuz I had to take the bill and pay for my food in the actual Jusco cashier). Later on, while walking pass the ready-made-food-section in Jusco supermarket (same area where the Japanese food is sold), they were selling the exact same keropok lekor for 1 ringgit for 10 pieces! What crap!!

Moral of the story: Don't buy lekor from the booth outside Jusco, just buy them inside!

Anyway, that's said and done. Here's a picture of me after having slept for merely 3 hours and what not...

* Aw, I don't look so bad!! *smiles*

Now this is what I call semangat giler! Now that I'm done with this post, it's time to get some sleep!!

Nitez ppl!

Wednesday, October 24

This obsession I'm having with this blog is becoming officially a lil' unhealthy. This is like my second post of the day and it's approx only 2+ hours since I last posted. I'm kinda telling myself that I should save this post for another day b'cuz...

Ai Li, you still have your MC100 memo cum resume due this Fri, your 500word essay on Anthro research topic due in exactly 7 days, your 103 research findings due on the 31st, and your 106 research/lab report due by the 6th of Nov.

But... *after some not-so-serious consideration* even if I don't post this post today, I will eventually do it tmr, so really, it doesn't make much of a difference.

Anyway, this post has absolutely nothing to do with my earlier one, the happy one. This post is merely for my own sake, and also to share what I'll be sailing in Aussie next month. I was actually very excited about the whole going-on-a-flight-to-Aus-to-sail thing until...

No 1. It's spring there, but I was told that it can get quite cold on the waters. I thought, a jacket would settle the problem but it really doesn't look like the case to me.
No 2. These people are literally almost twice my size! Yet..., very scary.
No 3. These are like miniature Platus but giant 420's. Elliot 6's just doesn't seem like very friendly boats to me.
No 4. I still have no clue who I'll be sailing with!!

I dunno lah, from being excited to becoming a bit paranoid. However, still looking forward to the trip, 15 more days to go on the countdown. *praying hard that things will work out fine*

Pictures all from the Gallery of Cruising Yacht Club of Australia

Time to decide what to wear to tomorrows Scholarship Award ceremony!

bye!
Yippy ya ya, Yippy yippy ya,
Yippy ya ya, Yippy yippy ya..
Yippy ya ya Yippy yippy ya ya,
Yippy yippy ya ya,
Yippy yippi ya!
*sing along with me*

I bet u can sense just how happy am I as of like... right now! I'm like totally beaming and totally totally happy and satisfied!! Like really-the-totally!!

* Boon Woei, u probably think I'm overacting and being abit 'too much' but heck, I'm just really happy that it turned out well. So, let's just all be happpy! Can?

Yeah, so you figured!

Anthropology presentation went well, lecturer was pleased, we're (AiLi, Boon Woei, Chun Feng & Darryl) happy - the combination of ABCD wasn't bad!! *smiles*
Correction: I'm VERRRRY happy!!

I guess u got my point.

Anyway, thank you Mandy! Liverpool Supporter! Betsy & Lala! Poh Sim & Ally! Min Huei and gang! And everyone else who, in one way or another helped/supported/prayed/and was there with us. Shucks! Sounds like I won an Emmy or something.

But come on, I'm just like uber duper super glad that things turned out well.

Yay!

**
Ohh, how could I! I forgot to include Sharon in my thank you list! Hee~

Tuesday, October 23

Was staring happily (I don't know how u can stare and at the same time be happy but that was exactly what I was doing) at a piece of paper that looked something like this:

World Visison Youth4Youth campaign.

Singkawang, Kalimantan, Indonesia.
29th Oct 2007 - 1st Nov 2007.

Finalist(s):

'Zzzek zzzek zzzek, Zzzek zzzek....' What the h*ll?! Next thing I know, '1 new message' displayed on my silent-ed mode Nokia.

'Wake up!!! Lol... So have u decided to drive?' I was like... (full stop). 'Aw man, not only was the paper a 'fake', there goes my precious sleep'!

It was 0800, my alarm was set at 0830. Half hour of sleep makes a lot of difference k! Sender of message: Liverpool Supporter!! *Grrr* But, prior to-not-so-popular belief, I did not murder LP Supporter, I only whacked the fella hard on the arm, and I've just decided to apologize for that.

So, 'I'm Sorry' (Kok, 2007).

So anyway, I drove to college today. Had an experiment at 0930hr. Finish experiment, terus went for 10am (1000hr doesn't look very cool) class. Lecturer not there yet, decided to call World Vision to *ahem* confirm. Ring ring ring, 'Hello, good morning.... May I know the result of.... What is your name pls?? Blah blah blah, ...SORRY!'

Alamak I! No doubt I was upset, very. Aiseh, what to do, try again in future only lah!

Class, class, class until 1400hr. Damn stressed in Quantitative Methods class. Felt and still feeling very dumb. Cannot understand what lecturer is teaching leh! How to sit for finals like this?! Very screwed.

Had to help Mom run an errand, post a cheque at HSBC in Millennium Tower. I can't believe it!! I thought it was as simple as putting the envelope into a postbox like thing but NOoOoo, need to do a whole lot of stuff which obviously, I didn't know how to. Was so damn embarrassed lah I tell you, a 19 year old dunno how to deposit a cheque! Very memalu-fied!

Anyway, thank God I realised I wasn't very smart and decided to go get help. So the HSBC staff ended up helping me with the thing. At least I got it done lah!

Got home, *pause*, drove home. Turned on lappie, thought I'd get started with Anthropology. End up guess what...

Woke up at 1900... on my bed! Don't ask how I got there, I just did, somehow. Darn tired.

Didn't expect this post to be long, it just ended up being long.

Stressed. Very.

Monday, October 22

Wohoo!

I bet RM10 that 8 outta 10 current B.Psych 103 students' blogs will have what I'm gonna say next. Ms Winnie is back and that's like the bestest thing that can happen!! Okay lah, maybe not so kua but yeah, she's just really really good. And it's great to have her back!!

Anyway, I pretty much thought that I won't be checking in today but again, the kiasu spirit terlalu strong. Haha, I like lah. Was thinking a while ago if I should be so obsessed with my new blog. My conclusion, it is a good thing! Why? Cuz...

In college,
Betz: Have you been crunchyrolling lately?
Ai Li: No, haven't been.
Betz: Why?
Ai Li: B'cuz of this blog lah!

Hence, yeah, it is a good thing.

Had dinner with Mom at Sakae in BV II. Bloated. Sharon, I bring u there some other time, when my wallet feels fatter, ok?! Also found the cheapi-est possible Polarized sunglasses!! Would you believe it?! Of all places, but in a golf shop in the not-very-tiny-corner of second floor BV II?! Side note, Novo Shoes got best value, RM29.90-RM99.90 (I think), kenot look at other shoes, staying loyal to Red Kappa.

Anyway, that means, RM89.90(sunglasses) + RM69.90(Red Kappa shoe) = Ah, I don't wanna know!

Must get started with assignments. Must. Anthropology and MC100, I bomb u tonight, be ready!!

Boom.

To:

Mommy!!!!!

Plz pick me up can?!

Pls pls pls pls PLS!!

Haha, thanks lah~

Sunday, October 21

I told ya'.

It's just the 'New' feeling lah, seriously.

Quoted from Heng, 'Yesterday the clouds had a gathering; today, the gathering was dismissed.'

Maybe that contributed to us skipping training today! Apart from the fact that 2 of the crews didn't show up. Hee~ Anyway, point is, we went gallivanting in Mv's. Had the usual San Fran's Mocha, since it's buy 1 free 1. And and AND, I saw this super uber cute pair of Kappa's in Metrojaya.

It was like 'love at first sight'. Almost. It's red and allow me to repeat, super uber duper cute!! Argh... but I said no more shopping this month! So... upsetting lah!

darn!

Saturday, October 20

It's the semangat season.

Considering it's new and all, I'm like being abit kiasu lah~ pretty much. Nama also new already what?!

Anyway, training day today was (on purpose). And I was right about my friend's visitation, so ma guai fan lah I tell you. *wishing I was born a boy* *hmm... maybe not* Today's weather made things alot bearable though. And, I dunno why, but hanging around on the same boat with my brother makes things alot more fun, and alot less stressful.
And if you are reading this, memang because you going to read only I write one.

Yeah so, was freaky tired when I got home, laid down on the couch for a nap, that was after sleeping the whole journey back from Port Klang. swt. That's why I said maybe I've been sleeping too much.

Insertion:
Seu said (before leaving the club) : You look very pale lah, you lost too much blood is it?!

I guess my dad is in a good mood. Cuz he ask me to choose in between a camera or my new pair of glasses. Tough call. But again, I don't wanna put my hopes too high, just in case I was hearing things. Some more I was telling Heng that must go Low Yat one day to get myself a cam when we were on the boat earlier. So ngam rite?! Abit unbelievable.

Bangga moment * I kinda sewed myself a T-shirt D.I.Y laptop casing! Very bangga, will use it from now on. I also repaired my very pitiful torn pair of gloves. Very productive lah me today!! Haha.

Coincidentally, WmPlayer is playing : Bay - Saturday Night.

Goodnight!

Friday, October 19

Have been bumming around at Betz place for the past three days. Went window shopping at the new Pyramid on Thurs, wakao! suffering wei, 1st the place like quite-the-big-lah-okay, then some more we janji tak boleh barang langsung cuz pocket literally kosong - no money. So pathetic right?! But then quite happy also lah, manage to not spend money.

Then made our own lunch. French toast with mushroom soup! - I beat the egg and soak the bread, yang lain all Betz do. I tell you, cook own meal really makes eating more fulfilling one lah! Unfortunately, gua got no camera, so couldn't take any photos, oh hey! that reminds me of something!! Pigs didn't fly after all leh...!!

Okay, enuff of nonsense!
Not in a good mood lah actually. Don't know why also.
Maybe I've been sleeping too much or maybe my *ahem* good friend coming to visit me soon...

Bah, anyway. Had dinner at Italiennies (I spelt this first, then I thought I'd Google it to see if I got the spelling right and so...) Italiannies at the Curve. I tell you, now only I know most of my friends really the rich one loh, I open the menu already see money flying away again! Thank God not I pay! *phew* Portion very the big, but I won't say very sedap only loh, maybe because I bad mood lah but then again, good food would have cheered me up!!

Hah! Princess(s) I went to BIG A's finally. Got one dozen of them! Yum yum, hopefully.

On a side note, I called up World Vision for their Youth4Youth campaign thing. Though I really hope I made it, again it'll be another week of classes, plus the 2 weeks I'm gonna be missing in Nov... Haih yar, don't care lah, chances don't always come! So must GRAB lah. *praying very hard, pray for me too, will ya?*

I guess that's about it.

One more / last thing, my group mate wrote an email to our tutor :
"...and my group members are Kok Mun Yee and Tan Ai Li. The reason for this email is..."

sofunny!
